Water ice, and methane ice can be found in space and make life up there a little easier. Space exploration adds a number of new resources. You can also use blueprint library blueprints, the deconstruction planner, copy and paste, etc. You can even make data-changes while in this mode, changing combinator, requester, or inserter settings. You can look at any planet you have discovered and scout the surface. This allows you to look around from the satellite’s point of view, detached from your character. Launching a navigation satellite unlocks the Navigation Satellite Uplink. Later you can use telescopes to look for places outside of your solar system via zone discovery research. Places in your solar system can be discovered by launching more navigation satellites. There will be more environmental challenges added in the future. Different planets have different challenges, some may be waterless, some have low solar, some may be windy (bad for robots) and some may have excessively hostile natives. Tight integration with the Alien Biomes mod means each planet and moon has some visual character. Other planets and moons have different sizes, resources and climates. You are unlikely to run out of the resources it has, but your homeworld won’t have all the resource types you need to complete the game. The planet you start on, Nauvis, is huge but ultimately limited. Each location has its own resource bias and challenges. Over 600 new places to visit - planets, moons, stars, asteroids fields and more. Finally you gain the ability to escape the stellar cluster and win the game. Late game leads you to deep space, expanding an interstellar empire, and working on the complexities of deep space science. You have 4 types of specialist science to choose from, your decision can be based solely on the techs you want, but may also be influenced by the strategic resources you have discovered so far. Mid game has you building a research space station, exploring new planets looking for strategic resources, and getting started on the 4 specialist science packs. Early game is characterised with basic sciences on your homeworld and launching a satellite rocket into space. Game ProgressionĪ space Exploration game is long. The current mod compatibility situation will improve in the future, especially in regard to other overhaul mods. If you are starting your first Space Exploration game you should stick to only the recommended mods + quality of life mods you can’t do without, otherwise you won’t have the background knowledge to see what gameplay is broken by other mods. It is easy for other mods to disrupt this balance, especially if the mod has ways to generate power that don’t rely on solar or scarce resources. One of the main themes is interplanetary logistics, and that is driven by different resource and energy balances in different locations. The mod focuses on experience and challenge over modular content, this means that Space Exploration does not work well with many other mods. You want gradual progression and new mechanics introduced over a 100+ hour game. You want some genuinely new and unique game mechanics and challenges. You want a refined, balanced, cohesive experience from a minimal mod list. You want to explore new worlds, and new civilizations. Wiring a circuit condition to an inserter is too much for you. You don’t want to start a new game and you don’t like long games. You don’t care about game balance, and don’t want a mod to balance things. You want to use lots of mods at the same time, conflicting mods, or other overhaul mods. There may be occasional bugs, but they get resolved quickly. For this reason the mod is considered to be in Experimental Status (see below). There's a lot in the mod already, but it is still in heavy development and things are changing rapidly. You build an expansive space station as your main research facility, explore new planets and moons, outpost for special resources, and gradually progress into the darkness of deep space as you expand your interstellar empire. After you launch a rocket you start discovering new planets, moons, asteroid belts, and other stars. Space Exploration is an overhaul mod about unique experiences and challenges. Production: Upgrade Levelĭiners provide food for the dwellers in the Vault, allowing them to regenerate HP to maximum level. Power Generators provide electricity to all rooms in the Vault, allowing them to continue production. In order to have, and increase, a population of dwellers in the Vault, there must be living quarters to hold them.Once the maximum number of dwellers are occupying a Vault, no more living quarters can be built. ElevatorĮlevators allow for Vault rooms to be built deeper underground. If a dweller dies while exploring the wasteland or dealing with an emergency in the vault the player can revive them for a number of caps relative to their level, and all items are retained by the dweller. While exploring the dwellers will find items to bring back to the vault and gain experience while fighting creatures. Additionally the Overseer picks vault dwellers to go out and explore the wasteland. The player takes the role of a Vault's Overseer and is required to manage three resources: power, water, and food. Revealed at the Bethesda press conference at E3 2015, Fallout Shelter is a free to play mobile game that takes place in the Fallout universe.

I have to admit that i was very addicted to this game. I previously left a good feedback but I can’t find it to edit it, so this is a new one. They are also awarded free for achieving goals, and my strategy is to use these free aids only if I see the finish line and calculate that using one will get me the win. Partly that was because I wanted to keep playing when I was at the top of a tournament, and partly that was because I figured I owed King something for the months of fun gaming. So far, I haven’t found myself “forced to spend money”, but I have purchased the piggy’s gold bars to get “lives” a couple of times this year. That’s a near-perfect luck and strategy combination. Others may take a more than one set of “lives”. Some levels are easy to win on the first go. Each type of level, “free the owls”, “clear all bubbles”, “help the ghost”, have a slightly different strategy, and you aren’t helped if the bubble combinations aren’t the best. When a newcomer starts the game there will be a, perhaps frustrating, learning curve. I am finally writing a review after playing over 1000 levels. Tell me how that happens!!! Come on, King - you’re better than this! Also, by the time I’m aware of a new contest (and I play every day), there’s always at least 1 person who sits at the top of the leader board with hundreds of plays. Even that wouldn’t be so bad, but they often play the same 30 sec ads over and over to the extent that I’m actually prejudiced against the advertiser. The last changes to this game are not good at all! They have increased the number and length of ads to the extent that I’m considering scrapping the whole game - and it’s my favorite game of all time. Too bad another of the King games, in fact, one of the most popular games on the internet, isn’t as transparent in its grab for in-app purchases. I finished this one and will now go to another version. The best thing about the game is that there are no ads and that one doesn’t feel as though you have to purchase anything to continue play. I love the colors, the variety of play, and the accuracy of the shooter. |
